ZANEVO Privacy

Privacy Policy

How ZANEVO collects, uses, protects and manages the information connected to your account and journey.

Effective: 31 August 2026

Privacy at a glance: your personal Discovery Snapshot is not made public, account information is used to provide and secure the service, and you can contact ZANEVO regarding access, correction or account privacy.

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ZANEVO handles personal information when you create or use a ZANEVO account, complete the Discovery Snapshot, receive a report, use learning features, contact Support or otherwise interact with the platform. It is designed to explain our practices clearly and to support our obligations under applicable Australian privacy law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect your name, email address, account and security information, profile information you choose to provide, assessment responses, scores and report outputs, learning activity, support communications, preferences and technical information such as device, browser, session, IP address and service log data.

3. Discovery Snapshot information

When you complete the Discovery Snapshot, ZANEVO stores the responses needed to progress through the assessment and generate your report. Your results are developmental self-reflection information. They are not treated by ZANEVO as a medical or clinical diagnosis. We may analyse response patterns and product usage to evaluate and improve the ZANEVO experience. Where practical, improvement analysis is carried out using aggregated or de-identified information.

4. How we collect information

Most information is collected directly from you when you create an account, submit responses, change settings, use features or contact us. We may also automatically collect limited technical and security information when you access the service. If a future feature receives information about you from another authorised source, we will provide appropriate information about that collection where required.

5. Why we use personal information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, deliver the Discovery Snapshot, save progress, generate reports, provide learning and account features, communicate service and security information, respond to Support requests, detect misuse, maintain platform integrity, understand service performance, improve ZANEVO and comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Email communications

We may send transactional emails needed to operate your account, including verification, password recovery, security and important service messages. Marketing or promotional communications, if introduced, will be managed separately and will include appropriate preference or unsubscribe controls where required by law.

7. Service providers and overseas processing

ZANEVO uses specialist service providers for functions such as cloud hosting, database and authentication services, security, transactional email and technical infrastructure. Some providers may operate infrastructure or process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and applicable law when selecting and using providers, and we will update this policy as our production processing arrangements develop.

8. When information may be shared

We do not make your private Discovery Snapshot report publicly available. Personal information may be disclosed to service providers that help us operate ZANEVO, where you direct or authorise a disclosure, where necessary to protect users or the service, as part of a lawful business transaction with appropriate safeguards, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law.

9. Organisation access

A personal ZANEVO account does not automatically give an organisation access to your private Snapshot responses or personal report. If organisation features are introduced or used, the information available in that context will depend on the feature, your permissions, applicable notices and any legitimate organisational requirements. ZANEVO will not treat unrelated personal information as automatically available to an organisation.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security incident occurs, we will investigate and respond in accordance with applicable legal obligations, including notification requirements where they apply.

11. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate records, protect security, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Where information is no longer required and there is no lawful reason to retain it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it as appropriate.

12. Access and correction

You may request access to personal information ZANEVO holds about you and may ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Some profile information may also be editable directly through the platform. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.

13. Account closure and deletion requests

You may contact ZANEVO Support about closing your account or deleting information associated with it. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution or record-integrity purposes. We will explain any material restriction that applies to a request.

14. Privacy questions and complaints

If you have a privacy question, want access or correction, or believe your information has not been handled appropriately, contact ZANEVO Support. We will review the issue and respond within a reasonable period. Where Australian privacy law gives you an external complaint right, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when ZANEVO features, information-handling practices, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date. Where a change materially affects existing users, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice.
